I'll start from the beginning tho When I got my Deadbolt RTR after 15 Years Away From RC.

Got my Toy at Tower because of the $60 discount, ESC was for a Tamiya Project I was working on.

Got my work area ready, my wife thinks I'm crazy.

Oh boy, here we go..

Guess I should get it out of the box before we put it on the stands..

Here it is..

Swapped to the other ESC that I ordered cause it had the Deans plug already on it.

Climbing on stuff in the house..

Cute little 3s Lipo..

Playing with the cats..

Furniture flexing..

Last pics all stock..

Taking it apart to check for lubrication..

Dug thru the parts bag, wanted to try front 4 link..

Stock "Y" link gimmick..

With the 4 link in place..

Playing with electronic placements, Testing a Lipo alarm for a different project..

First aftermarket purchases...

Gotta pull the electronics again... Never even drove it like that...

Was amazed at the amount of side to side flex of the front end just moving the steering side to side. And I really don't like to see the servo on the axle.

So, SSD CMS and steering linkages from RC addicts..

Flex pic before....

CMS kit..

Remove this...

Lookin fairly empty..

Servo mount and new cross member installed...

Carved off the servo mounts from the axle housing...

Mounted new Panhard / 3 link mount..

Mounted the single front upper link..

Axle back in place..

Back to my 3D printed stuff...

Final (then) electronics layout with Traxxas radio box..

Went thru and rebuilt, basically disassemble and reassemble with new hardware, the wheels and tires that I won on the facebook sticker sale...

Comparisons..

Ready to go..

Played with it for a bit like this...

Then I won another facebook "Sticker raffle", this time for this...

With this...

Couldn't put this setup in fast enough...

Took it out to play, Everyone said I would blow the tranny gears..

Hmm..

Guess they were right..

Replaced with Robinson racing idler and lower that still uses the Axial outers because I wanted the Driveline Pins to still work.

Broke it again..

Was holding off on buying metal c-hubs and knuckles because I wanted to do the XR narrow mod, but haven't got around to it yet.. did buy 4 bags of c-hubs tho..

Picked up a new servo, I like the speed, power, but it is a bit noisy...

Found out about Heyok on these forums so picked up his BEC...

Random pics from the yard...

Really enjoying this truck at this point..

Links are starting to become pretty flexible... this is as it broke a rear driveline..

Fun stuff..

I only have 3s, I geared it down to a 11 pinion, very smooth with quite a bit more "yip" to pop over stuff. The esc has a smoother drag brake engagement, but still holds great.

Most of the hill climbs at my place include lots of loose dirt, so its a controlled wheel spin deal to get up. If you just mash you will just dig holes and go nowhere.

Picked up some axial lower links for the rear as I knew I wanted to get a full set for the Toyzuki chassis that I just won. So, rear lowers only, limp this thing along for a bit...

Then I broke it again.

So its Toyzuki time.
