Default Scx10 new life project!

I was debating on buying a new scx10 2. But I decided to give my old SCX10 New Life. I ordered some SSD axles and I bought I new scx10 2 body. I will be receiving some new parts this coming week.

I decided to paint the diff cover red and I also used Marine grease just to get it ready for the water.

This was my old setup.

More to come!

Made the right choice bud. Axles look bad ass. Put a paint scheme on body to match those nice wheels.

Very nice.

I would highly suggest replacing the front stock SSD diff cover. It is a rock magnet and gets hung super easy on the smallest of rocks.

I'll second this.

The stock covers look good but that bottom edge is a killer. I'm a fan of the SSD HD covers for the smooth lower edge and they don't look out of place if you run the stock cover in the rear.

Szczerba and svt923 thanks for sharing the information on the diff covers.

Had some free time today and finished off the front axle. I installed Axial HEAVY DUTY BEVEL GEAR SET 36T/14T in the front axle and Axial HEAVY DUTY BEVEL GEAR SET 38T/13T in the rear axle. I hope it performance better.
