The little orange G6 Wrangler got some more goodies! I added a snorkel, door handles and hood latches from Knight Customs. I also swapped out the RC4WD Kong shackles for some from Locked Up RC. I think they fit the look a little better. Lastly, the rig is now riding on some sweet Locked Up rims wrapped in the big Baja Claws. They rub more than I care for in the front, but I'm liking the look. I can't wait to try it out on the trails. I managed to sneak in about 5 trail miles on the new wheel/tire combo over the weekend and all went well. No real surprise there. All I'm shooting for is a solid performing, decent looking rig. Okay. I like those lock out hub centers on the new wheels. Are those part of the wheel itself or something that can be added on like other screw on type center caps?

After seeing all these nice pictures. I admit I am so envy now as I always wanted one and consider the Jeep G6 body is the best for SCX10 I and II. I also really like the Trail Ready wheels with the G6 body for their are the Best combinations in my opinion. No wonder Axial consider the G6 SCX10 was a Legacy   |

Got out for for a hike as a blizzard was blowing in yesterday. We ended up with about 16" of the fluffy white stuff, so I'm glad I got out when I did. It'll be a while before the 1.9 rigs will be able to get around on the trails. This winter has been brutal weather wise. I'm going crazy up here with no weather to get out and no time also. I like the look of this rig and love the miles and hours it has on it and into it. Keep on truckin man! Ben |

Updates! Woo! It had been a while since I tinkered with the orange Jeep. I finally got around to doing something I had been meaning to do for a long time... CMS! I picked up the SSD CMS kit and some upper links for the rear. It was a nice easy install. I had originally picked up a Locked Up CMS kit on sale that I was going to use here, but I think the adjustable nature of that one makes it a good candidate for the shorter wheelbase of the Scrap Dingo, so I'm gonna save it for that. I also threw on some recovery boards and bungee cords for fun. I ran this truck hard out on the crawler course at RC Excitement and it pulled through like a champ. It drove away with the snorkel being snapped off and a bunch of fresh scratches and dings. Oh, and mud.
