Default 1973 Bronco build

Well got the itch again and pulled the trigger on a used deadbolt here on the forum. I decided to go with a proline 1973 bronco body. The rig is pretty much stock with homemade aluminum tubes links over all thread. I got me some China aluminum 1.9 beadlocks and a new set of 1.9 tsl super swampers.

Started on a custom made rear bumper. Going to make a swing away tire carrier and then fab up some rock sliders. Don't know if I want to build a front bumper or just buy one already made . still need to clean up the welds and add the tire swing. Then paint it up.

Well I had some dingo fender flares and decided to put them on the bronco. I think it came out ok. But now I feel like the tires look to small. What do you all think?

Started working on a front bumper. Still have to clean the welds and add the metal plate. And then some D ring holes and getting it painted.

RC4WD makes a bumper that looks almost exactly like that, what a conincidence! I like the fact that it's home-made though, more special that way. I like the rear tire carrier too. Wish I had the equipment to fuse metal together.

Well got in the matching rear tire today so I painted up a axial beadlock I had to see if it would blend in to the wheels it has. I also painted some body lines and added some rear view side mirrors.

I like the trasharoo, great scale detail! Mirrors looks nice to. This build makes me want to go buy a full width SUV body to replace my skinny C10 pickup body.

I got this tan trasharoo from a member on the board and didn't know to use my black one or this tan one. I went with the tan one to give it some contrast.

I think the Tsl's look perfect under the flares. I dont know how much driving you have done with them but I think you will be happy with their performance

Can't really tell by pics but I started by flattening out the paint by sanding outside of lexan to take the new gloss look off the body going to try and give it some weathering.

Got bored today and went out to work bench and decided to make me a CB antenatal to communicate out in the trails. Made it out of some carbon fiber sticks I had. And a scratch made nouns. Came out ok.

How do you think it will hold up to roll overs? I had one made of wire but it was such a pain to straighten every time I flipped, not to mention that after a while it was a kinked up mess that you just couldn't get straight.
