Default Fuzzy's Cherokee

Always wanted recreate my old Cherokee, but since it was a 2 door and I don't have the skill or patience I guess the 4 door pro-line will have to do

This is what it looked like when I got it.

The ford had to go

Got the spare tire carrier bumper

Just keep upgrading as I go, It trails very nicely. Has enough wheel speed to pull away from me at a walking pace and also enough low end torque to get into some heavier rocks. got a lightbar coming in the mail gonna see how it mocks up on here

Time to do some work!

I have wanted to cut off the stinger and make more a trailbar bumper ever since I got this bumper.*

Got a Oxy/Mapp Brazing torch for Xmas and figured I would put it to work

From This:

To this:

I am extremely happy with the way it turned out being*

A:my first time brazing

B:Starting with an existing bumper and customizing it to make it mine.*

Nice job on that bumper man. So for your first time brazing did you think it was pretty eazy? I been thinking about getting a brazing setup and trying to build a bumper for my rig.

It wasn't bad you just have to be patient, wait until the material is glowing nice bright orange and everything will flow pretty easily. Basically it's like soldering with an open flame. I could definitely use some more practice before I would say I'm good at it but I think with some work I could increase my skill.

This is the torch set up I got

I would recommend grabbing a few extra oxygen tanks right off the bat since it seems to go pretty quick

Great job on replicating your XJ. I'm working on a clone of my JKU.

Thanks man! It has been a long process that's for sure the best part is that this XJ is everything I always wanted mine to be

Its quite amazing how you can put metal together and it looks like hell and then a few minuets (or hours! Lol) with a grinder and make it come out so nicely. Thanks for posting a link to your setup man.

Figured I could update this thread with some new pics since PB decided to bone us.

I sanded down the front bumper to bare metal and gave it a nice Wrinkle black paint job

also threw in some pics of the whole truck just in case you guys forgot what it looked like
