Bed options to go with recently acquired cab Im looking for some options to throw on the rear of my sons lil scx10 to go with the yota looking single cab I have. I like the trail honcho roll cage but wanted to see what else is out there. I found pictures of one with a BGR and Ivan Stewart cab that is awesome but it looks like they no longer sell them. The cab I have appears to be smaller scale and it allows the 1/11 crf450 and big 4x4 Suzuki quad to be more acceptable compared to the f250 cab I have. Does this make sense and is the 80s Toyota cab the same? Are people chopping off the rear of prolines hilux or is there one that is just the cab? Thanks in advance |
Re: Bed options to go with recently acquired cab Pics are helpful. |
Re: Bed options to go with recently acquired cab 1 Attachment(s) Well I was really just asking if there are any similar options to the honcho bed but here is what I slapped together yesterday |
Re: Bed options to go with recently acquired cab I see what your saying now. You're wanting a flat bed like the Honcho has but it needs to be narrower. I think most tube beds are custom builds. That Proline '80s Toyota has the back of the cab on it like the Honcho cab and a bed that will mount as well. Or you can get just the cab. |

Re: Bed options to go with recently acquired cab Okay thanks. I believe ill just go with honcho bed and old Toyota cab. Not sure why I thought that one wasn't a painted honcho and its the f650 cab I have that's a slightly smaller scale that works with his lil bikes and 4 wheelers. |
