Got a start on the new build this week. Still needs engine compartment, interior etc etc. The blower is coming off and a standard manifold and 4 barrel are taking it's place. The mold for the camper shell is almost there, ready for vacuum mold soon. It's getting there. |

Where'd you score the Dub body? I've eyeballed those Maisto 1/10 Samba Vans for quite some time.

Hack up the 21 window bus and rebuilt the way you like, I also made a trailer for it too.

Small update: I got the windows cut and taped on temporary for the camper shell mold. Next up is cutting styrene for the engine compartment and interior.

LOL, I think with this one I'm going to weather it slowly as it gets rock rash from driving it.

The blower is getting tossed, going with a regular manifold and 4 barrel or throttle body. Small update: Spark plug wires, Check.

Nice shoes Norton and you already received your new hubs..Been looking at those and they are still on pre-order you must be one of the lucky ones that has connections or a least first in line.... Lc70 looking mighty nice ...I still think it needs the rust treatment.. I'll be doing rust mod soon or at least try...any tips Peace |

The 1.55's look so much better. I didn't have a connection on the wheels. I ore-ordered them on the 10th and didn't even think they were being shipped yet. I will say, It's the first thing I have bought from Boom Racing and there bad ass! not only the two way design but other than Gear Head EZ-Locks they were the easiest to mount the tires on ever! As for the weathering, by the time it hit's Axailfest 2017 it's going to look like a beat outback rig. I could give you some tips to probably. |

The headlights, brake lights and running lights are just the Axial simple light kit. The light bar is Vanquish and the rock lights are from Fry's electronics. I run them all thru a HeyOk high/low voltage light controller from my radio. I do run everything on 3s though. |
