Default Cheap CNC Ebay axles

Does anyone have any experience with these?

2pc Of CNC Aluminum Axle Front + Rear Rock Axle For AXIAL Honcho SCX10 1:10 | eBay

I'm really wondering if the parts like chubs and gears can be swapped out with axial parts, or if they are exclusive to this axle.

I'll be the guppy. I ordered them. Should be here in a week or so. I picked up a cheap rolling chassis, my plan is to test out cheap parts on it. It will be my test rig / loaner rig.

These took forever to arrive. I have not had the chance to do anything with them. First impression, they are nice and solid. When I get some time off work I'll take some pics.

How have these held up? I've been eyeballing a set of China axles.

These axles are knock-off products. The Original Manufacturer is TFL rc. https://www.rcgenesis.net/

Should be fine if you shimming properly. If my memory served me well, these axle's parts are all compatible with Original parts from Axial.

That's good to know about the internals being compatible with OEM, some of them specifically say that they aren't. They'd be a dud if they weren't.

Lockers, cvds, and rear axle shafts are compatible with scx10 axles. I have used them, past that I couldn't say. I couldn't image the gears not working because the locker match, but I haven't tried.

These work fine with oem parts! I have used these with HD od gearset, but you need to shim lots of play on THE pinion gear.

I recently acquired a SCX10 with a set of these TFL knock offs and so far so good they take a serious amount of abuse and i haven't had any issues with them yet. Only Upgrade I'm looking to get for the front Axle are some new Steering Knuckles and Driveshafts.

I've got about 6 months on these now. I put them in my loaner rig and they get beat on. I had to replace one CVD, after the truck took a drop off of a 20' cliff and landed on the right front tire. The axles held up, but the stub part bent. I put a set of LockedUpRc cvd's in them and haven't had any more problems.

Glad to hear the axles hold up to a long term beating. Out of curiosity are you running a axle mounted servo or a chassis mounted servo?

Got the same ones and they were all well greased and fitted nicely. All screws came loose on all the fittings. Loctited them and they performed well. Only snag was the size of them they hooked up on most things and didn't slid as well as the plastic ones.

i was comparing the TFL SCX10 v2 axles and these dont look the same. How is the turning radius on your ebay axles?

By the looks of it, these axles will not accept 3rd party high steering upgrade parts. Hopefully they carry them so you can get 8° steering angles which really helps in corners... else in a comp you will need to reverse a lot and add points (you'll want lower points to be competitive).

just my 2 cents

But for a cheap build to get into the hobby and bash around with they are just fine? I've picked up a swb chassis and I'm doing a ground up build cause I like to do things the hard way..lol (hey I built my AR from parts, why not a crawler?)
