Toyzuki front motor mount . He has a thread in the vendors section. You can use his aluminum mount on the stock chassis or go all out and buy a complete chassis, transfer-case and motor mount. Lots of choices for both the original SCX and also the .2

This motor mount will put your motor lower than any other kit out there for a bettor cog.

I was looking at the Toyzuki mount myself but they were on backorder so I went with the GCM mount which is not as low CG but it is 1/3 the price.

I am using the toyzuki front motor mount on my 2.2. Love it! Its linked to a dig transmission and I have had zero problems. Only con, if you want a full interior there might not be enough room or you will need to cut.

I have the full GCM front mounted motor set up in my street rig. I have had that in there for about 5 years. Same parts, different builds. It includes the front motor plate, transfer case, and a dual front servo mount where I have my steering and winch servos. This is an absolute bomb proof set up that has handled some serious horsepower! It also gives room for a full interior with no cutting of the visual areas.

I really like the super low COG of the Toyzuki setup, but GCM would be my second choice or you can build your own with any t-case and make some brackets.

GCM stuff is solid, and their SCX10 mount is half the price although I've never seen or built anything with Toyzuki products to be honest.

I just ordered this one for fun. Don't really need it at this point but for $18 shipped I wanted to see what it was like. I've been more and more happy with cheap Chinese parts.

Reviving this thread...

I am making my SCX10 into a C1 comp rig, and I am wanting to move my motor forward with a transfer case. The GCM mount looks good, but I think I might have clearance issues with my CMS set up, anyone know how well these work together?

Here is the CMS kit I have installed:

And here are pictures of my rig:

Thanks.

No i dont think it will. I printed my own 3D print of a similar front motor mount and my cms is across the rails under the mount to make it work right. I also printed my little cms. I think a bumper mount cms would fit though. It wouldnt fit going down the rail like that.
