Default TRX 21 Turn motor in SCX

I was planning on switching out the 55T motor I have in my SCX right now for the same 21T that My TRX came with. I'm running stock ESC still and was wondering if it would be ok and what the outcome might be. Thank you guys in advance.

Should be fine. People have been running motor in SCX's long before the TRX was around.

The stock Axial ESCs don't last long. If it dies it's not a big loss. Upgrade that to the HobbyWing WP1080.

Will I be able to get the same torque and speed out of it or will I have to regear it as well.

It's the wrong rotation but the normal rotation 21T 550 Titan is excellent. Whilst you can reverse it, I believe from reading that it may lack power compared to using the correct rotation. I honestly have no idea though that is what I read previously.

For the best results you want a 3S happy ESC like the dirt cheap and excellent HW 1080.

What kind of power will it lack, Like speed ? or torque?

I guess it may have like 10 degrees locked advanced timing, so for example if you reverse the rotation, it then becomes -10 degrees and you're 20 degrees out which will likely impact performance. I have little idea about how exactly the performance would be impacted but I read that someone found it lacked power when they bought the wrong motor and reversed it (something about having more power/speed in reverse than forwards which might equate to the timing differences).

Looks likely you will lost speed. I do have standard rotation 21T Titan motor in my heavy Wraith on 3S and I was happy with the result. High torque and good in speed.
