Default Softer springs for big bore shocks?

I want to try some Big Bore shocks I have laying around on my SCX10 but I need much softer Springs. Without springs I get a lot of flex but with springs I get almost no flex. So any recommendations or links for Springs that will work?

Try your stock scx10 springs?
They will fit the big bores - just remove the spring collars and use the scx10 bottom cups.
