What all is needed to put the ar44s on an scx10 other than the axles themselves. Also, do they sell these axles as a complete set anywhere?

Since you can't mount the servo to the axle you will need some kind of CMS kit. Pricewise it would probably be about the same as aftermarket to just get the bits from the SCX10ii, and it would be a lot less complicated. Not sure on links, but they should work out close enough that you can just adjust with some shims between the rod and the rod end.

| Re: ar44 swap What? No way the plastic axles housings are $70. These are the axle housings: Axial AR44 Axle Housing: AX31401 - 10.99 https://www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFZWV&P=7 These are what I'm referring to: Axial AR44 Locked Axle Set Front/Rear Complete: AX31438 -67.99 Axial AR44 Locked Axle Set Front/Rear Complete | TowerHobbies.com I'm not sure why it's marked front/rear or what exactly comes with it yet, but I'm pretty sure it's not just a housing. The "Axle... Complete" part of it suggests otherwise. Last edited by OSRC; 10-18-2017 at 03:53 PM. |

The complete just means it has the diff cover, link mounts, etc... The front/rear means it works for either if you get the knuckles or lockouts, i went thru this when they first came out
