Battery mount So I want to run 2200mah or less mah batteries on my scx10 does anyone make a battery plate that mounts across the frame rails behind front shocks? |
Re: Battery mount yes check ebay or atees, has space for esc mount too. |
Re: Battery mount Two pieces of angle and your stock plate will work great there. |
Re: Battery mount Four holes drilled in your existing battery plate and two zip ties.Hole sizes dependent on the size of zip ties you use. |
Re: Battery mount I’ve had great luck with this one: https://www.amainhobbies.com/knight-...j20001/p567769 There are several video reviews on YouTube. One is here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Oxb1SRNoaFE Here’s a similar idea, but more DIY https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6zGF6rNVzBY Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
Re: Battery mount Like RiderZ said. There is no point paying for something you already have. I didn't even drill holes in mine. I just use some zip ties and the existing slots and was able to mount mine just fine. |
Re: Battery mount |
Re: Battery mount Knight Customs makes one, at least they used to. But have other have said, there's a free option that really does work just as good. If you want you can even mount one set of holes with rod ends and the other end with zip ties (I find it holds it more secure than all zip ties; can't slide around). |
Re: Battery mount I just received this one from Samix. I’m using a larger 5000 Mah Lipo and the fit is perfect. I also relocated the esc to the side and radio to the rear for a much cleaner chassis https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...86f0599a0c.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
