| Another Unimog build.
New to this forum, here is my current project. All thank to Rick (SuperShafty), Won a bomb proof transmission in a give-away a couple of months back, which motivated me to do this ( besides the fact that my 2 yr. old has claimed ownership of my wraith). My full size drawings (bend template) My crude method of bending the round stock. |

Vozz.Jay this is my first Unimog build, this one I would feel comfortable selling because of the welds. I only have a cheap flux core welder at the moment, if I can get my hands on a better welding setup I would consider making one to sell. If I do make one to sell, it would be a kit to bolt onto a Scx10 Chassis. most likely metal parts only. |

nice looking mog!! I like that the link risers are part of the cage mount, hey the tools for bending might be crude but the end result is as good as if you used a traditional bender.

Nice, I'm trolling Unimog builds trying to figure out my 6x6 build. I have an scx10 6x6 complete now it just needs a mog body

I have been very busy with school, getting ready to start another semester. Not much for progress on the Unimog just collecting parts to build the axles. OT axles and lockers from Locked up RC, Beef Tubes for the back, RCBro's stock length Burly Tubes for the front (ran into Will from RCBro's at a crawling comp in Roseburg, Oregon), overdrive gears for the front and xr10 universals. I had put on the Vanquish SCX10 CMS link kit. I will try and get some pictures up tomorrow.

| Re: Another Unimog build. Are those the silocone bushings from the wraith? I stumbled upon this post and have been looking for a better fitting bushing for the top of my piggybacks.

TrimbleTractor: Yes, they are the wraith shock bushings. I also have a washer on both sides as well, couldn't find any thing else that fit better. To everyone else, thanks it has been a fun build so far, can't wait to get it done. |
