| CVD Options??
Hi all, I have some SSD Scx10 metal diffs that i need to find CVD'S or similiar for the front. The car will be a 1.9 Solid axle U4RC rock racer so looking for something strong and durable. What are my options and where can i find them, IN STOCK? And what about options that say they are for the SCX10ii. Will they be the same length as the original scx10? Thanks all, your help is greatly appreciated. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk |

Anything for 10ii has a similar stub axle to a Wraith (can be used for an XR mod with some shims) otherwise 10ii doesn't fit scx10 knuckles.

Thinking about this more the different stub axle lengths (longer on 10ii/XR) could be easily dealt with by shims/washer/spacer between the hex & the outer knuckle bearing. Problem to over come would be if length from inner knuckle bearing to housing end to different to over come. I'd be grabbing an XR/Wraith uni joint axle shaft, fitting that to knuckle & then into housing (minus locker & other side axle) & seeing if can get knuckle to seat onto C-hub. Checking if enough clearance inside C-Hub for uni joint. Might work if bearing at housing end left out. If that worked I'd be either then trying 10ii or shortening XR uni shafts to suit |

Beeftubes sells narrow xr mod universals (stock og scx10/ax10 width) Axial has actual CVD's for the ax10/scx10 og housings. DLUX fab FBA shafts will work with some mods as well. |

| Re: CVD Options?? Would try a wet noodle before these ^ will like last as long & be cheaper Other 2 suggestions don't work either without doing XR mod, but it was a version of trying them I already suggested, though I'm fairly certain they won't work as king pin & axle joint won't be aligned. axial cvds suck donkey balls. If you're gonna run those, make sure you have lots of the rebuild kits around. I seem to pop the pin in the cvd every other time I use the truck and its only on brushed 2s power. I've been experimenting some as I have vanquish metal housings and none of the normal "XR mod with beeftubes" suggestions will work for me obviously. I think my best option is wraith chub and knuckles with shortened shafts. I just have to get the time to actually do the work. |
