| Shim sizing for the drivetrain, what are they?
I have bought a Chinesium SCX10 and I want to be prepared for the inevitable teardown and rebuild. So, my question is what would the inner and outer diameters of the shims be in the drivetrain, are they all 5mm id and 7 or 8mm od, or are they all varying thoughout? If someone could let me know the id's and od's it would be much appreciated. Cheers, Tom. |

Assuming they've used same bearings as stock shims will be 5mmID for pinion shaft & stub axle outer 10mmID for spool/locker & stub axle inner |

Thanks. Someone reminded me to look up the Axial manual and, yes, it is 5, 10 and 8mm that are used for the inside diameters. Cheers, Tom. |
