Axial Unimog kit or....?

I think I'm pretty much set on this kit, It was a tossup between this and a trx4.

going in it would be a hobbywing 1080 esc. Holmes 550 27t trailmaster. I'm not sure on the servo yet, is 208oz enough? I was looking at the Savox SW-0231mg. 3s lipo as well. the aluminum links, aluminum shocks, and the body make this kit a good deal I think.

Is that a good setup? I was dumb enough to go buy the 1/24th deadbolt for my kid last week and now I've got the bug again after selling my wraith and scx-10 5 years ago.

That is a wonderful setup.

208 is plenty for a trail truck, but is light for serious crawling, and hardcore rocks.

Sounds awesome, spot on, I'd say.

0231 didn't last long. Replaced mine with a 1230 Savox.

I would go with either the 27t or the 21t. The 12t is waiting on it's truck.

This is my exact setup except I have a chinese 20kg servo and the 2 speed. It was rock solid at Axialfest. It performed surprisingly well given the top-heaviness, short wheelbase, and lack of shock performance. I also have a TRX-4 chassis kit that I dropped a bare bronco body on. The stock speed of the umg sits between the TRX-4 low and high.
