| Ricks D90 - SCX-10
So I've had this for a a while now. Bought it second hand with how the chassis is and bought a d90 body maybe a year and half ago, started and then gave up. Now in quarantine thought id carry it on. Built some mounts for body and front and rear bumpers. Chopped up interior. Still unsure where batteries are going to go. Also since having this I've moved house and lost a few parts for the shell so have been 3d printing replacements. Light covers and bonnet vents are printed. Also painted up the arches this week. Anyways here some pics let me know what you think and any tips to make it better *EDITED PHOTO LINKS* Last edited by rickk; 04-21-2020 at 11:30 AM. |

Looks good Can't see where the body mounts are though? I'd strap the batteries on the sliders, plenty of room there You in the UK? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk |

The sliders are a very good spot for a smaller battery. It looks like you work in aluminum,so making a new battery mount shouldn't be a problem for you... I mounted my battery tray behind the front shock towers right where you have your rx box. I moved the rx box to the rear cross member and used some servo extensions so the servo esc wires would reach.

Doing a similar build atm, also wanted to see a pic on how you mounted body posts? I am thinking of doing the post underneath, kinda like the new Axial scx10 III. |

Thanks for comments, In the end I just mounted the battery at the back and cut part of the seat out. Just for ease of what I had available. I have no body mounts it mounts on the sides and sits on both the front and rear bumper. For testing I've just sat it on. Not really done much with it now as unsure what to do next. Need to really find somewhere good to test it out. |
