Carbon fibre frame rail

I see this all over the internet, and I bought a frame rail set only. But I'm confused about how to get started. On the standard scx10 the skid plate is wider than the cross braces (if I remember correctly). So how does this line up? Does it use a narrower skid plate? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...52a64f002e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ccfdbe1806.jpg

The standard frame rails are bent to match the narrower cross members. In your shoes, I would mount a narrower skd, depending on if you have clearence for the transmission. Otherwise the only other option you have is wider crossmembers, unless you can get that carbon frame to flex.

Thanks. Yes, it seems narrow skid plate is the way to go. If I don't slim it down, the frame rails will be too wide to match the axle housing shock mounts.
I wish I had a 3d printer at this point :-/

I used this frame for my build.
Standart rails are from 1mm sheet metal. This frame is from 4mm plate. So frame is wider 6mm.
All braces are 70mm. Even skid plate.

Even with correct plate springs (same size as on picture) could be in slight contact with frame when suspension do its work.

Nice. I wonder if they sell that skid plate separately. I haven't been able to find it.

This looks like a correct plate.
