Default Body Mount Question

Hey guys,

I finally got around to painting my rock van body for the Axial SCX10. Unfortunately, I forgot I need taller body mounts. Facebook guru's had told me part number ax31391 is what I need, however, when I looked it up on Axial's website, it says it's only compatible with the SCX10ii. Although, in fairness, Axial's website doesn't seem to make mention of the original SCX10 at all.

So, I am wondering are those the body mounts I need? If not, can one of you help this newbie out with a part number or link to the ones I would need?

(The body is the Pro-Line Rock van)

Thanks!

The body mounts on the 10II are placed wider thasn the original rig, so that part number will not work without modification,

I can take a look at the spare parts for my son's original SCX10 and see what he has.
It will be mid next week before I am able to look though.

You want AX80031, that's the original mount set from the SCX10. They have 2 flat faces on them. Long out of production though, and might be hard to find.

To use the SCX10II mounts (AXI31391) you'll need the newer II version shock towers (AXI31380) - good news is they should bolt right on. Hack off the panhard mount if you don't need it. I figure it might be easier to swap over than source than the older parts.

Thanks for all the assistance, folks. I went to the local shop and they had some generic mount extenders that did the trick just fine!

Appreciate the help!
