Best motor running with 3s

I got a scx10 honcho on trade. It has a 20t motor, I'm running 3s with it and it has a Dynamite S2210 esc. When I have the pin in crawl mode it seems to wheelie and flip anytime I stop. What motor should I throw on it? I believe they came with 27t stock?

thats not the motor thats the esc but to get a esc that dosent do that you need to get one that has a programable drag break or lean to live with it

a slower motor like a 27t would help by limiting the top speed but the break will be stronger but with less speed it should stop the endoing

Need a better esc that can be programmed. Has nothing to do with the motor. Need to be able to turn the drag brake rate down so it does go full lock as soon as you let off the throttle. Otherwise learn to modulate the throttle better so you are not just dropping it to 0 when coming to a stop. In fairness, modulating that well takes a TON of practice and time. 1080 hobby esc will solve your problem.

Makes sense. This unit is kind of the spare since the wife and I have our trx4s. Will learn to drive this one with the brake for now, might have to check my drawer maybe I have another esc laying around lol
