Unless there is something special under the body then it's just another Jeep bodied SCX10 to me. For me to consider buying a new SCX10 there needs to be a huge upgrade in out of the box performance.

They are having a scx10 owners event at Casey curries shop so I would assume so.

Though I'm not a huge fan of the Cherokee I'm eager to see the new changes

I agree. Jeeps are played out, although that's my favorite body aside from the Scrambler. A full sized LCruiser, Rover, old school Wagoner or Patrol, etc would've been a better seller.

its obvious axial either has an agreement with jeep to only feature their products OR the people who make the calls at axial just like really jeeps...

i used to whine about it, but w/e... it'd be alot cooler if axial had the exclusive rights to the jeep trademark and became THE rc jeep brand, so if you wanted a jeep body you could only get them from axial...

im hopefull for narrow ar60s (or just update the scx to use unis.) and some sort of revision to the drivetrain that nudges it a bit more scale. cms with a panhard would also be nice.

They just need to make a kit without a body. I'm tired of having to pay for a licensed jeep body just to buy a Chevy body anyway.

Yes, agree. A bodyless kit would be awesome. Those Cherokees will be dirt cheap eventually from all those who wants to change it. Cherokee looks pretty boring. A Chief would be way more awesome if it had to be a jeep.
