Default Making my trail honcho my own

So after doing months of research I finally bought a trail honcho. I'm really trying to go with a scale look as much as possible and when stock parts break I will upgrade at that point.

For me I love the truggy style of the trail honcho but definitely have my own unique taste. I want to share my build from to stock to when I build it.

I removed the decals to start my touches.

After trying to find a look I wanted to go for I came up with the idea of a black kicker panel and then took it out to play.

I next took an old lunch meat container and fabricated some inner fenders. After fitting them properly I painted them black to make sure it had a scale appearance.

I decided the black wasn't the look I wanted and went with a camo kicker panel. This is much more to my taste.

The last thing I installed over the weekend is some custom plates I ordered.

My next part of my project is to install my led kit.

Thank you for checking my build out so far and I will update as I continue to build it.

So far, so good! Will you be installing an interior at some point?

I will be. Haven't decided fully one what I'm going to do with an interior.

So I decided I wanted a different look for my lights. I really dig the look so far. Still have a few tricks for them.

Added some marker lights!

In a dark hallway with all lights on.

This is the end of tonight's addition but I have a lot more in store for this.

So continued working on my light upgrades tonight. Kind of flying by the seat of my pants with it and really digging it. I haven't seen too many if any set up like mine.

Installed some red lights on the bed.

Can never have enough light up front.

The end product tonight

Decided to add some more camo

Scale Ruger and Browning stickers

Scale Magpul sticker

I will continue to build my Honcho when I get new ideas. I am currently deciding on an interior to help hide the wiring. And then as parts break I will decide on which upgraded part I will get. I have actually bent an axle I'm pretty sure as my wheels have wobble when going in a straight line. But that's all part of the excitement. Stay tuned for more updates.

Added a camo sunshade

"OREGUNIAN" sticker to rep my home state and the 2a.

Deke Outdoors is helping sponsor the build. Check them out on Instagram and Facebook.

So here's an update on what I've been doing.

Repositioned the rear shocks and switched the front springs and the back springs.

Installed the DCW Flip Your Lid kit

Got a 3Racing Winch I have to install still.

Preparing the wires for the interior I ordered.

Got Axial Beadlocks and Pitbull Mad Beast.

Kind of hard to see, but there is the Reign CB Scale antenna.

Being from the PNW I had to add a touch of fishing in here. Just have to figure out where to mount it.

Ass Shot
