Default Brandon's SCX10II Nukizer

Updated my R&D test rig with a fresh look. Working on the Axial blog with some details on the body modifications. Should be up soon, for now a few shots from Corona Del Mar this week.

Electronic Specs:
Tekin FXR 30T Handwound combo
Futaba S9157 Steering
Futaba 4PX
Castle BEC
Lots of lights
Heyok winch controller / SSD winch

EDIT 6/10/2016:

Blog post is up on Axial: Axial Racing - Brandon’s SCX10 II Nukizer Build

That 8274 style winch looks oh-so-right in front of that body. Cant wait to see RC4WD's upcoming version too. Which model of the HeyOK are you running?

Yeah, fits perfectly. Took some fresh holes in the plastic bumper to mount it but easy.

Heyok controller: HeyOK 4A Relay Winch Controller for Radio with Three Position Channel - High Voltage

I still need to get some real winch line on there though

Great looking truck!

This controller:
4 Amp Relay Output Winch Controller
Just ask for the H option when you order it if you insist on running more than six volts to your receiver.

Exactly. Dingo cage (rear section) with a new JCR roof rack. Yes I know its bolted though the canvas top... Just imagine supports underneath

Do the scx10 & scx10 ii share body post patterns? It looks like the ii moves the rear posts forward by a body post width.

I like the fact that the XJ front bumper fits the Nukizer extremely well. Are you running the rear bumper as well? And what wheels are those? Look VP-ish.

The SCX10II kit includes the necessary posts to match original SCX10 locations.

Axial Racing - SCX10 II Body Posts

If you click the image on the webpage you will see a larger version and the offset posts are visible. With those installed I pulled the Nukizer off an old SCX and it fit the new one.

The JCR bumpers fit the body extremely well. I trimmed them up a bit to tuck the front closer to the grill and match the body lines but the overall width is the same.

VP KMC's. I have yet to mount my new KO2's, after following 2 XJ's running the new KO2's I need to switch. They work extremely well on the local sandy rock. I just have a sweet spot for those Trep's on this Nukizer body.

I have a short clip of the Nukizer dragging its hitch in the sand. Its pretty funny watching it get hung up on it! Nothing worth sharing though

Yes, glue required for the stock wheels.

Very nice! I wasn't initially keen on this new body, but after seeing these pictures, I think I like it! A lot.
