Go right ahead! There's a ton of Jeepspeed references on the internet.

Thanks gents, it was a fun one to make, and despite the complete lack of variety in framing due to the untimely separation of wheel from hub, it turned out okay.

I gotta say, the new wheels are nice, but i reeeeally liked the Roost's and stock tires for that build.

Nice vid, you must have spent ages trying to sync up the sound with the video.

Me too. At some point they'll be back on here.

Thanks very much! Nah, an hour or so maybe. I'm a film editor by day.

what hubs did you use with the Roosts? I'm pulling the trigger on a kit and I want those wheels with some Pit bulls.

Great video! How exactly did you do perform the audio swap?

Thanks! I'm a film editor by day so it sort of comes naturally, but in a nutshell I found a clip of a bunch of Ultra4-style trucks driving around that had good quality audio, and then filmed a bunch of my truck driving around. Then matched up the shots that best suited the audio I had selected. Pretty simple really, but loads of fun!

That explains it. I thought that was the absolute best audio device installed on an RC E-V-A-R. Especially the squeaks and other chassis noises in the audio. Really awesome.

Heh, thanks very much. I find that most actual sound units sound, well... terrible. Like not good, and not realistic. Tamiya nailed it with their Semi one, but other than that, most sound pretty fake. Especially when you can still hear the electric motor whirring away.

Love the build, made me pick one up. Got the frame and running gear all together. Got the honcho cage and bomber interior. Getting ready to paint the body, if it ever warms up. Would you mind sharing how you mounted the interior ? Is it attached to the body or the chassis ? Pics if you have them.

Awesome, glad I could inspire!

The interior is zip-tied to the rear via the Honcho cage. I did a small trim along the leading edge that aligns with the front body pins so it sat flush with the body. Friction fit there keeps it in place. I'll get some pictures in the AM.

Cheers!
