Yes I am....I'm using the kit shocks. I substituted the upper red o-ring with a Traxxas X-rings and used Teflon tape on the threads for the shock caps; no leaks.

I don't recall...most likely 30wt. I may have mentioned the weight earlier in this thread.

Finally had an opportunity to take out my 10.2 today and test out the new Promodeler v4 servo.....which performed flawlessly. For a 1.9 rig, the servo has more than enough torque to get the wheels turned even in a potential bind situation. I had one really bad tumble where the rig landed on one of the front wheels from about 5 feet of air and thought for sure something would be broken, in particular the servo; to my surprise, everything was perfect (except my ego).

I have numerous 2.2 rigs that are outstanding at crawling....but this SCX10 II rig is definitely my most capable crawler and this is with the least amount of money and upgrades invested! It truly blows me and my buddies away from it's awe-inspiring crawls that it accomplishes.

Axial FTW!!!!!!!!!!

I know you like the performance of those klr tires, but I thought you were going to change it up due to wanting a more scale look. That is the first time I have paid attention to those tires. I'm looking to go with either the voodoo klr silver or the new pit bull xl tire.

Also, my brother has a new rtr scx10.2. Mine is the kit with my shocks set up the same as yours. While mine does some things better, I noticed that he has slightly more ground clearance in the rear and it allowed him to drive right up this one stone while I had to use just a bit of a run at it to get the rear tire on the rock. I'm assuming that is a trade off for running the shocks forward mounted like that? Thanks for the advice.

I couldn't do it Motorider.....I couldn't live with sacrificing performance for looks! The KLR tires are by far the best tires I have ever used....but I do like the reports of the new P-L Hyrax tires have been generating....might have to try them out to compare!

I've got them both, and I don't think I'll be using the KLR's after mounting up the Hyrax's.

The new Pro-Line 1.9" Single Stage Closed Cell Foam Insert (2)

And the new Dual Stage http://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/pro617600.htm

I want to try the Dual Stage in the front Hyrax Tires and the Single Stage in the rear Hyrax Tires.

What do you think about mixing the two this way?.

It took months and months for the Ascender to make these lines after infinite tuning sessions and upgrades. After today's very first test session and a couple of hours of tuning the suspension and shocks, my SCX10 II has owned these extremely difficult lines already...it's ready to take on the Rocky Mountains! Needless to say, the performance is off the charts already and will only get better with the inevitable upgrades the future has in store for this newest favourite rig!

that back yard is horrific, and you should be ashamed! I don't know how you can post those pix and sleep at night? jk, looks like a perfect spot, congrats on the great space.
