Default ribaja's scx10 II

Not a build thread just a place to throw somethings out. This was one of two kits built in May. My 7 year old daughter and I built a TF2 on Sunday and I built this during the week after the wife and kids went to bed. I will say that it went together great but New2rocks and a few others covered a bunch of stuff in their build before I started. I went simple to start team fast eddy bearing, tatic 3 channel with a solar 722d servo and a ae5 with a Holmes TM expert 30t.

One thing that was a pain was getting the chubs set right

and time for paint, my girls 4 & 7 picked the colors for both the TF2 and this along with the matching graphics

Than it was done with my 4 year old clamed the TF2 and the 7 year old this and the both can wheel the awesome

The trucks both got good work outs on our camping trip to New Hampshire and I even got in some wheel time and I will say this is one great truck.

But like everything dad likes to tinker so it got a little light upgrade this past weekend with a couple more things to come

and a little light show the flood lights will be up and running next week along with some rock lights and the new rc4wd winch

Props to the ladies for having a good eye. Great job appling it all dad. Both rigs turned out very nice! The lights look sharp too!

If you don't mind, would you share your thoughts on the light kontroller? Were you cycling through all the steps with one button on the transmitter? I personally like the HeyOk controllers becuase of their size and simplicity but having the option to get all fancy with it would be fun for sure.

2kind you could easily change to far2kind. Thank you for the nice words and I will tell the girls for sure. The guy Kent that that does the Killrc stuff is a good guy he was one of the only ones making kill switches for 5th scale car when I was into them and I wouldn't run with out it. The controller is awesome but you maybe able to find something cheaper. The controller will do brakelights along with rear blinkers but I didn't connect it that way yet. It does operate off of a 2 position 3rd or 4th channel so yeah each button push changes the mode. It may not be the brightest as it runs off the ecs voltage but still a little fun lol. I like the HeyOk controllers too I have one on my og scx and also had one of his daul power daul switching light controls on my ramzilla and loved it

Got a couple things in the mail today but still waiting on a few more.

not sure I like the size of the jack on the truck

but I like the new winch just need a fairlead for it as the rollers don't fit right.

I had to get one too. Even a 3racing winch's rollers wouldn't fit. I just took he whole bottom plate off and mounted it without it.

Well I got this rc truck remote starter in the mail from a Jonathan Baskins so I went and hooked it all up and it wouldn't start my RC. What it did do was make the winch go in and out and turn on and off my rocklights and floodlights crazy I know

Sweet lot of additions! The rig is looking good man. Really like the idea of running certain lights remotely. Nice job on the videos.
