Default Is the new scx a class 1 in comp?

I have looked at the sorrca rules and from what I read it falls in class 1. If it does or doesn't let me know either way. Thanks for the input

Not with the tires it comes with. Those are C2. 4.19" or less for C1.

To me it would be a class one just because you would see this jeep rolling up to trail on 33 or 35 inch tires. So if i put smaller tires it would be in class one?

If your going to an event it still not class 1 legal if they got by sorrca rules.

Why's that? Genuinely asking. You'd have tire coverage, and it's got frame rails, and if there's 4.19's on there... What am I missing?

from what I just read on the sorrca rules, if you put the 4.19 tires on it, it will be class 1 legal.... it meets all the the criteria...

I feel that the people involved in sorrca should take a look at it and possible re-evaluate. This is just my opinion

It's a C1 or C2, completely depending on what size wheels/tires you run. Heck, you could even run it in C3 if you wanted. There's nothing stopping you, it falls completely within the spec.

Yep, agreed with imthatguy. I ran my stock SCX10 II in class 3 with class 2 tires. I beat a lot of Wraith based vehicles with it.

The fender flare openings on the body are the biggest in the land! Those alone should keep it out Class 1.
