| old gearbox vs new gearbox
Gents, As I wait for a backorder, I see that the RTR has the older style gearbox (no transfer case). I assume the new gearbox that comes with the kit permits 2-speed. Is that the only advantage/purpose of the newer gearbox? To allow for a 2-speed setup? What if I don't care or have no intentions of running a 2-speed setup? |

There was a thread about this already. Dropped to the 4th page, but here it is: RTR vs Kit tranny The 2-speed will be an option in the future, but yes, the tranny is ready for it. |

This was also buried all the way down on the FIRST page. This question gets asked once a week since release and I don't see an end to this except maybe a sticky. AX10 vs new trans. |
