You need two more than what the scx2 kit trans supplies.

im confused over the header card showing ax31410 which looks to have the larger pin, but later on the part number ax31134 is referenced, which has the smaller pin.

i read the writeup and saw the note about the only difference being the size of the pins, but that means 2 diff part numbers not two of the same shaft. thats where i get confused.

im not buying anything till sorrca gets clarified but it might help in case other people are also confused. if its just me than apologies for pluggin up the thread.

AX31410 uses a 1.5mm pin and is used on the transfer case portion.
AX31134 uses a 2mm pin and is used on the upper motor mount gear portion.

What exactly will be in the SORCCA rules that might disqualify this chassis?

Maybe the issue is with the rail chassis designation and what ever "twin vertical plate" means.

Here is the latest SORCCA rules for chassis in scale classes:

You must run a rail chassis (for example: Bruiser/Mountaineer, SCX-10, Reign RC K2-3S, 3L, 4, 5, MFM, Trail,CR-01, UTE, etc...). No TVP (twin vertical plate) chassis' or frame rail extensions on a TVPs. Tub chassis' are allowed, but chassis must be covered by the body and follow all other scale rules per class guidelines. Anexample of a tub chassis vehicle is CC-01, DF01, Twin Hammers, etc.

im not trying to start up anything like weve seen on the sorrca fb page. that was absolutely not my intention... i just want steel rails (cause im a steel rail kinda dude) and if theres a rule change that favors steel it might be more likely to happen and id be happy i waited.

This is a T.V.P. chassis

So just to be completely clear, we need to order one of each of these part numbers and have a completed kit trans to complete this build? Does the kit come with all bearings and O rings? I want to be ready to build when my kit shows up.

let me rephrase it then... i want to be left out of it and i honestly didnt mean to cause any discussion over it. i clarified why i mentioned the rules and honestly if you have been on the sorrca facebook this has already been talked to death.

theres a sorrca section here where you can talk about it, theres facebook as well, and i personally would appreciate it if everybody could refrain from talking about it here.

Just those two parts. Then everything else is included or in the kit transmission.

Thanks VMG, I got 'em ordered from RPP. I went ahead and got the SSD hardened transfer case set with it. Might as well upgrade where I can while I'm at it.
