A Red SCX10 II XJ

After a several month wait, I finally got my kit. Yea!

Here's the basic layout and electronics. Holmes 550 10t Crawlmaster. Mamba Monster X (soon to be swapped for Holmes BLE Pro). Holmes SHV500 Servo. Heyok winch controller. BEC was installed to knock voltage down to winch.

After looking at some people's failures on the Duece, I decided to put longer screws and nuts on the Chubs.

LockedUp RC D-rings and Bare-Metal Foil for the headlights.

Dead Sexy Methods from Vanquish and scale hardware from LockedUp. Tires filled with CI Deuces Wild CWR-3001.

On the trail. Plasti-dip on the fenders and hood. Need some inner fenders. Either DIY or Knight's... not sure what way I am going.

We've got 10.2 specific inner fenders in the making at rcaddict. Love the idea of the foil in the headlights, I was thinking tin foil and Crystal Clear glue may be workable too.

Opposite side of the state, I live in Ely. "thumbsup" The video was taken below Squaw Peak, just a minute or two from town.

I have been to Moonrocks for the G6 Birthday Bash. A lot of fun there. Hoping to go back for this year's Birthday Bash.

I did swap ESC and motor. Last weekend I installed a 2200Kv Puller Pro Stubby and MMP. I geared it with a 14 tooth pinion on 3s. I really, really like the setup. Great low-speed control, yet fast enough to out pace me at a run.
