I wonder if they make a truss for this axle, or if any other company's truss would fit.

after seeing the way that has broken, it looks like what we call down home, "pot metal".... a term we used for any cast metal that was of very low quality and easily broken... I will stick to the more expensive options so I only buy it once...

don't care about the cost, once I put it on, its a pain in the rear to pull it all back apart to replace it with another cheapo part, plus the fact that next time it breaks it very well may break an axle or cause other damage...

If I have to save up a little bit longer to buy the more expensive parts, so be it..the stockers are holding up just fine for me...

I have beat the absolute crap out of mine, no issues. I have even hit something hard enough to break the case of my Savox 1230 case and the axle didn't blink. With all the abuse mine have taken, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if one broke.

He stated he was just driving down a trail when it broke. I do know he was running dlux knuckles and beef patties. He bought another currie at the local hobby store that day to compete in a comp the following day. I have not heard if vanquish replaced the housing, but I'm sure they would. Vanquish is a stand up company.

7lbs 7.2oz. Fresh off the trail.

I would be wasting my breath, it's china. It's not worth the effort.

If it was a $$$ axle, I would be POed. I'm more upset that my crawl was cut short than the $28 I just spent on the replacement

You'd be surprised. Chinese companies are getting very responsive and standing behind their products.

There's a bunch of these axles in my crawling group and we've never broken one. I think you got a dud which is always possible with any company.

If mine breaks then I have a excuse to order up a Currie! Honestly For $25 bucks I wouldn't really expect much from them. I got my set to test out. If they last great. If not, I would not be upset at all to be honest. I'm actually surprised that so far we have one victim of failure on these. So that is impressive to say the least

Well I finally got everything to build the new axles. Started pulling the old ones apart and noticed the bottom half of the pinion gears gave a decent amount of wear. Hoping someone gets some good hd sets out
