Scx10 ii wheelbase stretch

Did you guys ever attempt to push the front axle forward on the scx10 ii? Kinda stumped I never stretched with panhard bar before.

I just moved mine forward a little over a 1/4". I haven't put it to the test yet, but it looks okay and drives well on a flat surface.

I have the Incision links and my wheelbase was coming in at 11 5/8". It is now just a tad over the 12.3" stated wheelbase.

Isn't the stock wheelbase for the scx ii 12.3?

The correct offset rear posts came with the kit.

The wb is supposed to be 12.3". Mine wasn't, but I never built and mounted the kit links.

I got my son a SCX10-2 RTR for Christmas and it's front links are a little longer than mine were.

The Wrangler body in my photo has mount holes cut at the factory. It slips right on.

Here's a photo of the mounts and their proper orientation.

i did this instead of using the body posts. allows you to keep the hardtop on. cut and bent brass strips and used double sided tape.
