Also how well does using the stock body mounts hold the hard body inplace? I feel like my lexan body fits quite loosely.

Curious why you went back to kings after trying the Gmades. For looks or performance?

Talk about a late reply, I'll post pictures soon, I have changed a lot on the rig. I went to axial fest again last year I'll post those pictures, and I now have taken the rig fully apart and am upgrading it's chassis and relocating the servo. Possibly building a extra cab dually/regular bed to have best of both worlds.

Well I ended up going with a droop setup so the king's with minimal oil (so they wouldn't leak) did great for downward travel. Current day I went to slightly short boomracing internal spring shocks. I ran those all of axialfest 2018 only started leaking last day of just straight bashing.

Here is a big update in order. From prep to axialfest 2018, to axialfest 2018, to prep for this year's axialfest.

First up was getting some new parts for the Cherokee body. New taillights, grill, scale accessories, amongst other small pieces. Also finishing the truck conversion. I was building the rig for concorse but I wanted to drove instead so i didn't even go lol.

So if you look back a page i converted the body into a truck, after i finished the body work i painted it gray. these pictures were right as i was taking it apart for the repaint the grill was a new addition just test fitting.

So the real prep for axialfest began i had like 2 weeks to get the rig ready.

I didnt bother with bodywork since i dont baby my rigs, nice gloss over a beat body lol.

Also threw on new tires on the gear head wheels

Gotta Get the scale accessories right.

Next things to tackle before axialfest was the electronics. i dont have waterproof stuff so i needed to make it that way. I ended up putting my receiver in a traxxas box and my esc in the axial receiver box. siliconed all openings and it was ready to go (i fully submerged my rig at axialfest many times and it was all fine)

Did some chrome trim

Got my final lights installed, packed up, and ready to go.

Got camp setup and we were on our way to crawling

Yes i brought a Traeger

And then we spent the next days just bashing our rigs. If you notice my two tone body my friend ended up using it for the trip.

first stop the gas station

On the way back to camp lost a screw lol

Our favorite area from the previous year we hit this course up first.

The last day, crawling the last bit of rocks leaving cisco grove. Notice the missing mirrors and the now destroyed body lol.

And the rig has sat in this position since july
