Oh! Wow! Ok, didn't realize you are in Romania.

Here's the ebay link... Vanquish VPS08106 SCX10-II TRANSMISSION TOP SHAFT | eBay

You can search for that part number and find other sellers that might be closer to you.

Well, I don't know how others have done it, but neither my SSD beadlocks or Chinese ones would mount to the hyrax's. They wouldn't seat all the way. I could get the screws started, but there was a gap between the font and back sections of the beadlocks. I even tried with stock foams and same deal. I put the stock SCX10.2 methods in to see if those worked, and they fit fine. However, I'm not gluing my tires, so I ordered a set of proline beadlocks to see if that makes a difference. Not a huge fan of the look of the PL beadlocks, so I'll probably paint them up.

More pictures to follow. I think I'm gonna waterproof the axles with the stock bearings, so I don't have to do it all over again when the XtraSpeed axles show up. Still think I'm gonna paint those too.

Hmmm mine mounted up no problem. It was a little difficult getting the bolts started but once they did it went together fine.

Yeah, I really don't know why. It seemed like everything was fine, but they wouldn't sandwich all the way together. I really don't get why they'd be any different. Especially with the stock foams.

I have some Boom Racing EVO High mass Twin 6-D wheels that mount up to the Hyrax's fairly easily even with stock foams, have the Pro-Line Dual Stage showing up Monday that looks like those may make it slightly easier to mount. Initially tried to mount them on a set of RC4WD but was a no go, have those wheels mounted up to my Voodoo KLR Silvers with Voodoo Dual Stage Foams. RC4WD makes nice wheels but man are they a pita to get mounted onto wheels other than their own.

One of these days I need to figure out how to shrink photo's down a bit

These came in yesterday. I'll get a better picture when I mount them up.

Tore the trans and tcase down. I actually didn't swap any bearings as those are all sealed (thought they werent) so now I'll have some extras. Greased everything up nice and install the vanquish top shaft. All slop is completely gone. Again wasn't worried about it, but figured "why not?".

Also installed an STRC motor mount. I split two different axial ones installing the screws for the cover. This thing fit perfect.

Weather is abnormally warm for this time of year, so I think I'm gonna go pick up some paint tomorrow for the inside of the body, and start putting on the freqeskinz.

What Chinese beadlocks were you using? I have mounted a set of Hyraxes to some and a set of VP Bully wheels and didnt really have a problem. Just get everything lined up, put pressure straight down on the ring, and start a screw a couple turns, then start one 180 degrees away from it and slowly tighten all the screws in a star pattern.

If it is a set of the RC4WD knockoffs, it would likely be a different story though.

These ones here... 4 X 1/10 RC Crawler 1.9 Alloy Beadlock Wheel Rims for SCX10 D90 90034 90035(#20) | eBay

Yeah, I've had absolutely no problems mounting these ones or the SSD's to any other tires I have (BFG AT's, and Falken Wildpeaks (both axial brand)). But for some reason, it's a no go on the hyrax's. Spent plenty of time trying, and it just wasn't happening. Did exactly what you said, and didn't work. If the PL wheels don't work either, then I'll be trying to figure something else out.

Those are the wheels I used (except mine are the polished finish). I did use CI foams right from the start though. The included foams don't look nearly as large as the foams that come with the TSL XLs, but maybe they are still big enough to make mounting a pain.

I will let yall know when I get my new Pro Line 2 Stage foams for the Hyrax's if it changes the ease of mounting. Going to attempt to mount them to my new RC4WD Wheels first as those where the ones giving me troubles with stock foams.

For the record, I tried PL two stages, CI two stages, and the stock foams as well as two different beadlocks. I couldn't get either to mount properly.

Hmm, well that is interesting. Anyway yeah gave the new foams a shot and I noticed something while doing so. The reason it appears that RC4WD Wheels don't work looks to be the inner ring is too wide for Pro Line Tires oddly enough, which now makes sense as to why RC4WD Sells Inner Rings specifically for Pro Line Tires. Marketing scheme much. Only reason I figured that out is because they fit perfectly fine if I took out the inner ring, of course that left too much play so they wouldn't stay on the bead but still made it obvious enough.

At any rate the Boom Racing Wheels still fit fine.

Apparently I have a wheel addiction... I just ordered these.... This is the exact style wheel I was looking for and just wasn't finding anything. I wanted the bronze centers, but he was out so I went with a slightly lighter shade of gunmetal.

I almost went with the opposite (black inner, gunmetal outer), but I feel like in the small scale it's hard to pick out the look/style of a wheel in black. Either way, these are awesome and I can't wait to get them in.

Ahhhh yeeeesssss! My Xtra Speed axles came in last night. A lot nicer than I was expecting, and definitely some good weight down low.

First thing I did was blast the covers (you can kinda see in the first pic). Really like how it looks. Gave it a "brushed" kind of look. I'm still debating on blasting the whole axles and painting them something different. Or leaving them bare? Not sure yet... open to ideas.

For now. I was actually about to drop the coin on all the SSD stuff until I found out the C-hubs are spinning on the axle housings (not enough spline). I'm holding off on that until SSD fixes it.

On another note... Beef Tubes came out with brass diff covers (weigh 1.1 oz) and brass lower link mounts (0.75 oz per pair). Something else I don't need, but I think I'll at least pick up two of the diff covers, and clear coat them. I like the brass look.
