Default TF2 Mojave LWB on SCX10

So I saw a post on Facebook where a guy put this hardbody on the 10.2. I looked at the specs and it should work, it's just 1mm shorter. Anyone here try it and have photos?

Mojave II Four Door Complete Body Set

I am thinking about long term builds and was pretty content with the Team Raffee XJ hard body but the 4 door hilux is also pretty cool.

I would have thought the SCX10 II axles would be a bit wide for that body.

You know upon closer inspection I bet you are right. Is there shorter axles? I thought I saw a post where I guy hacked up an axle to make it have an offset pumpkin, could you shorten them? Completely noob-ish question so please have mercy on me.

You could shorten the axles but it would take quite a bit of effort, first you would need to trim the axles themselves, the axle housing and than somehow make the cutouts again so the c-hubs and the rear lockouts could go back on once your done with the trimming. That would probably only work with the stock axle housing though, any aftermarket axles such as VP wouldn't work at all I would think. Either that or you could always go ahead and pick up the TF2 Axles I suppose and just bolt them to the chassis though you would probably need some modding of the links and suspension I would assume.

Or you could see if you can get some Negative Offset Wheels and mount the tires to those and see if it works better.
