| how can i increase droop in my rear suspension?
Its a stock scx10 II kit, but I want to add a bit of droop in the rear suspension. The shock is mounted in the far back hole on top and the nut for the shock is all the way to the top.

Add more metal (armor), or lighter weight springs

. Flip the shock tower around so the mount hole is in the rear and push it up one hole on the chassis. Then tune the height from there with the shock hole positions. Simple

I run big bores built to 95mm with mini springs and shocks alpha angled with plates I made. Truck is 9lbs and performs well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I run a internal spring on the shaft itself as well as the external springs... gives a low constant ride height and a predictable suspension... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Re: how can i increase droop in my rear suspension? I run this same set up in all three of my rigs. Very predictable and I like the lower ride height!

I was wondering what size and spring rate for the internal spring

Edit: I just worked the spring rate curve out - it's basically the same as a conventional dual rate spring setup, assuming the internal spring tops out at some point. Last edited by Dbx; 04-16-2017 at 06:52 AM.

I run pen springs that are on the ink cartridges... Experiment and find which work for you... You can also cut some coils off to adjust articulation as well but we're talking mm's... I don't like a ton of articulation (flex) that some people... I find 4-5" is more than enough and with the 90mm 10.2 shocks the pen spring works perfect... I also run a bump stop on the bottom of my shocks and a rear sway bar... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by k9popo; 04-16-2017 at 03:27 PM.

No worries!!! That is the wraith rear sway bar arms with a piano wire bar across... I have since changed the arms to wraith front which are longer therefore putting more leverage on the bar and giving it a hair more articulation in the rear... I'd recommend this setup better... I'll snap ya a pic when I get home... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
