One piece ring and spool

I have been snapping the three little 2x8 bolts that hold the stock together, this is a no brainer for me. Nice price too!

Hell yeah, 28 teeth on that ring, it's a different ratio!

EDIT:
stock is 30:8 (3.75)
this is either 28:7 (4.0) or 28:8 (3.5)

This would overdrive, it's a 28-8.

You were able to confirm a 8tooth pinion ? I figured it would be OD simce making a smaller pinion for ud would be difficult to retain durability.

That somehow manages to be both expected yet disappointing at the same time.

Guess its a good thing I bought a bag of 50 12.9 2x8 bolts. Have already snapped 6 of them on the stocker, but at least its fixable.

What are you running for power?

Use threadlock between the gear and the spool next time to see if it helps.

Make sure those screws are tight, they will break more if they are loose.

I'm not seen a lot of grease on those gears... Did you clean them off?
