Default Gmade XD diaphragm front shocks

My son purchased a set of gmade XD diaphragm shocks for the front of his scx10 II, when he installed them we noticed that the right side shock bottom hits the drag link.
Has anyone else used these shocks and what did you do to fix the problem with the drag link interference.
Thank you
Doug

I had these on one of my rigs. Two things I remember doing was swapping the lower eyelets out for the stock axial ones. Threads were the same size. The lower spring cup will fit loose but should clear the pan hard. The other thing I think I did was grind a flat spot on the spring perch but I can’t remember off hand.

How did these shocks work out for you? The design looks good but there isn't a lot of info on them.

I ran these on an SCX10.2 a while back and I think I just used the link mount hole which should move the spring perch back and out of the way of the drag link. Though its possible I adjusted the caster a bit too.

The shocks are very nice but the available springs are on the stiff side so I cant really recommend them for crawlers.
