Only thing about that is that the battery being offset to the opposite side of motor is a good thing. It helps to balance the weight out from side to side. The positive side of things is that it may help reduce the torque twist this chassis has. I know it's not much, but mine does always seem to lean a little left. I have tried big bores and came back to stockers. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk |

I guess if you need the run time from a huge battery and no servo winch it's a viable option. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk |

So I had time to install, but not relocate my electronics. The fit onto the frame is excellent. Had to file a little material so that my P2 would fit into the servo mount. Filed down the top of the front of the servo mount so that my scalerfab bumper would sit back against the servo. I am really digging how low and centered the weight is. I will easily offset the weight of the motor with the Mamba X, Quicrun winch controller and reciever will be on the motor side. The repositioned servo is around 3mm further inboard, it does cause a small amount of bump steer. I think that the lower center of gravity is worth a bit of bump steer at full extension of the non-driveside front shock as I am running super soft springs and am pretty close to bottom out most of the time. Once I have it all back together and have some drive time, I will give an update. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk |

I have this setup in mine and it completely changed the center of gravity. I run a 5000MAH 3s, so it is a big battery, along with the HH 12v servo up front. I have a winch mounted on the bumper so losing the servo winch mount was fine with me. The fit and finish was spot on with mine, no issues whatsoever. 3D printing has totally changed the game lately. The only downside I see is I think you lose the ability to mount a bumper that would slide into the frame rails versus attaching as the stock bumper does through the two holes in the front frame rail cross member. If that makes sense. Last edited by jbh1900; 05-09-2017 at 11:13 AM. Reason: Forgot to add something |

Ok, I'm the noobie, is this for weight distro and torque benefits? Does it handle better?

I'm seriously considering doing this with my rig. Question though: how does that servo mount adjust for different servo sizes? that mount looks static? can anyone help?

| Re: Servo relocation and center battery mount! Would it be possible to get a look at the steering linkage on your truck? I bought one of the machined ones and can't figure it out without getting a severely shortened servo link.

What length steering link are you using? Does the stock link work?
