Default body roll

why does my jeep body roll or torque to the right when going forward and roll to left when going backward? is it the shocks? i adjusted the springs, it's better but there is still some roll. . i have stock shocks( maybe leaking) and i run tekin 35t motor with fxr esc, 3s lipo. and hard body the xj.

what else can i do to lessen it? heavier wt oil? how come i don't see this on my tamiya hotshot? it's modded with 4 shocks instead of two.

If i recall, the tamiya has open diffs where the scx10.2 diffs are locked. If you hammer the throttle on an open diff car...a wheel or wheels will spin and not allow the rotational forces of the driveline to twist the car...if all the tires got traction, it would lift the car as well...

Or sway bars, but I don't think seen them on scalers apart from rocky-racery models a la Wraith.

Rebuild your shocks and go from there, when I first built my kit it had very little torque twist. After I noticed I had alot more I rebuilt the shocks to find alot of oil had leaked out

I made a rear sway bar for my scx10.2 that was having the same problem, using a coat hanger and some mounts for a traxxas slash sway kit. It eliminated the TT in forward as well as mostly all TT in reverse, but I also still have nice movement of the rear susp. shocks and articulation.





Here are a few pics of my last crawl with this sway setup...





Pics are blurry but if anyone wants better/clearer pics I'd be happy to oblige.
