| Are my shocks leaking?
Is this normal to get dirt build due to shock oil coming from the shaft? Or a sign of leaking shocks? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by EeePee; 07-27-2017 at 03:08 PM. |

Looks like a very slow residual leak, but the dirt sticking right in that area is a sure tell sign that they are in fact leaking. I've yet to find someone whose found a leak proof shock (that has been used over a long period of time) that doesnt leak, even the Pro-Line Ultras. Mods including AE GreenSlime and using teflon tape have yeilded excellent results nonetheless. |

Ah copy that. I don't see any sign of oil coming down the shock body. So the leak would be from the bottom "cap" for lack of a better term? So on the bottom threads of the shock body is where you recommend the teflon tape? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Did you use green slime on the o rings inside the lower cap when you built our shocks? If not I recommend you disassemble them and add some

There's only three logical answers to this question regardless of who asks; 1.) Not yet 2.) Yes 3.) They were but now they're empty |
