My rear axle is fine but my front axle shifted and we can't figure out why. It makes the front of my truck look stupid Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I haven't had any issues on mine yet. Several hours on stock suspension and one shock rebuild all the way around. Electronics and wheels/rims are all aftermarket on my RTR Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk |

Could the transmission mounting platform just be THAT much off and not be centered? the links are all factory... quite confused.. passenger show almost rubs the chassis rail, the driver side has a sizable gap

Are you speaking of the axle shaft inside of the housing? or the whole axle in general If its the axle shaft inside the housing, this is a VERY common issue on early run models of the 10ii regardless of rtr or kit. The main cause of the issue is a missing 5×11×4 bearing on both sides of the internal shaft. On both sides on the ends (close to the axle nut threads and close to where the lockout is tightened up) is an actual cut out where a bearing fits in perfectly and was meant to be there. According to an overwhelming amount of members on this forum, they too did not have the 2 bearings in their parts bag or installed on their RTR. Not sure why Axial omissed these 2 cheap bearings (keep costs low for peofit maybe)? But its a simple fix. I had a pack of Traxxas blue sealed 5×11×4's in my parts box I used. Picture of install speaks for itself. Not exactly sure if this is your issue but, this will stop the slop/play inside the housing with the shaft. mine isn't shifted to one side but it flops around almost a 1/4", on a brand new never ran truck. ball ends are super sloppy.

@Matty, i mean the whole axle/pumkin assembly. The rear wheels are shifted to the left. I can post pics later tonight...my swivels are a LITtLE sloppy but not that much... what options do I have to replace them? Traxxas swivels any better and fit?

take off the links and make sure none are bent and make sure the 2 uppers are the same length and the 2 lowers are the same length

Yes your swivels (rod ends and ball) being 4-link the way it is and having an adjustable driveshaft, that is the nature of the the suspension set-up. I haven't changed my rod ends yet, but the stock Axial ones are definitely on their way out the door. Traxxas long Revo rod-ends do work but not with these aluminum kit links. As Allanon1965 noted, make sure you have the correct lengths installed, the manual was a little screwy in my kit but saw it immediately that I had my links backwards. Also be sure you have the correct angle set for the rear axle, if I remember right it was 10 degrees and the red link mounts help with getting the exact angle. |

Has to be the link lengths. Judging by your last picture I would guess the right lower link is too short.

That's interesting! I've heard the Axial rod ends can stretch, so that was going to be my guess, but it looks like the truck is brand new, so that wouldn't be feasible. Hopefully they get you some new parts soon! |
