Default Evolution IV 4Runner

When I first saw the ProLine 4Runner body at Axialfest I knew what direction I was taking my 10.2 aptly named "Bonnie".

I wanted to build a vehicle you'd see at the KOH EMC. I wanted to use the honcho bed that I've had sitting on my bench as well as the Cherokee roof rack and here's what I've come up with so far.

Build List:

Axial SCX 10.2 kit
Axial Honcho bed
Axial Cherokee roof rack
Axial Wraith front sway bar (rear)
VP Currie axles
VP motor plate
VP 1.9 Method 105's
VP spools
VP universals
SSD knuckles
SSD brass knuckle weights
SSD Titanium steering
ProLine 4Runner body
ProLine 1.9 Hyrax tires
CI foams
Castle Mamba X
Holmes Hobbies trailmaster 3300kv
Hitec 7950
RC4WD light bar
RC4WD front bumper

First pic is how it sits now.

Good job on the paint. Really looks good and hides that front fender body line well.

You do have to narrow it but it works great!

Mind sharing how you narrowed it up? What adhesive will hold up?

I cut out two sections out of the bottom first then marked up where I needed to cut the top bar. I then drilled the center of all the bars about 1/8" and used wheel pins and CA to join them.

I'll get a pic of how much I took out of the bottom tomorrow.
