Default SCX10 II Spools & Gears from Devil RC

We are happy to now carry more Devilish options for your SCX10 II drivetrain.

The Devil SCX10 II Spool is a great budget replacement for your stock spool.
It features a tighter than stock fit and is hardened steel so it will last in conditions your stock spool will not survive.

The Devil SCX10 II heavy Duty Bevel Gear set (30T/8T) is a direct fit replacement for your Axial SCX10 II AR44 axles.
These gears are CNC machined from hardened steel and have the same ratio as stock gears.

The Devil SCX10 II Heavy Duty Transmission & Transfer Case gears are hardened steel and are helical for smoother operation.
These are direct replacement ratios for your truck.

Thanks for reading!

What’s the Difference Between Spur, Helical, Bevel, and Worm Gears?

I also bought your FI spool and rear shafts to fix my slop problem. Problem is the axles will not go into the spool all the way. They are 4mm shy of fitting. Should I have to file them? Stock axles are a perfect fit. Also, if I press them on in, I will never get them out without breaking stuff.

Thanks for the advice.

Yes, OT shafts with an FI spool are a tight fit.

If you do not want to assemble them that way you can lightly polish them until you get the fit you want.

If you press them in without doing any sort of polishing they will be difficult to get out. People have done it and usually mock up a slide hammer of sorts.

...... maybe that's a tool we need to look into.

Got it. I will slightly polish them as to get a very snug fit and not require a slide hammer to remove. Thanks for the fast response.

The helical gears reduce torque twist?

Not that I'm aware of.

The helical trans/tcase gears may reduce drag but I can't see those or the spiral bevel gears making an impact on TT.
