There are heavy metal diff covers coming in different colors. There are a few other surprises coming along later ;) |

Look like a nice housing set and will more then likely be getting a set, just thought it would be cool to have the pass through option. | |

I was just going to get a set of the SSD brass knuckles for my second II; but, I guess I'll be doing a full SSD axle set-up now. Also anxiously awaiting more info on the heavier diff covers. Interested to hear what the axle housings will weigh with the heavier diff covers. I am fortunate to get a hook-up on the very popular and sought after company that so many people (with good reason) love around here. My Bomber has many of this company's parts and I do love them. That being said, SSD has been so quick and progressive in getting the parts we want on our SCX10 II's out to market that I have been willing to forgo a nice discount and pay for the SSD items lately. That says something. From bumpers to C-hub/knuckles and brass weights to these new housings... I'd say SSD wants business and is putting a timely effort into the right products to get it. It's also nice to see a combination of aluminum, brass and nylon parts from a manufacture to balance cost, function and durability. |

When I bought my scx0 2 kit I said I was going to leave it mostly stock with just some headlock wheels and a light kit. Then ssd has to come out with the brake rotor hubs(bought those) , then heavy knuckles and now the axles. Guess it won't stay mostly stock after all. The only good thing is my son has the original scx 10 so he will get the old parts to improve his.

Preordered a set and lockers last night, even though I still haven't bought a kit. So I guess I am scx10ii committed. I have to say the SSD parts for the scx10ii I was looking at are very reasonably priced. The bumpers for the stock body look nice, and I plan on putting on a set of them also. |

Can the tubes be clocked by 90 degrees to allow for leaf springs? If not, is that an option being considered? How about tubes & drive shafts for narrower widths?

| Re: New SSD Pro44 Axles I have a set of TKO diamonds in the old SCX ring/pinion flavor. I was going to build a set of SCX10II axles for this year but waited because I wanted THIS! Great job SSD for responding to the market. I know there are other small pumpkin diamond axles on the market but this is just what I wanted! Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk |

Thanks guys, these weigh a couple of grams less than the Pro44 due to less screws and no metal bearing clamps inside. Besides that, they are basically the same spec so they are interchangeable if you want to change the centre section later. There are still some other axle related surprises coming, just running a few weeks late with them... |
