the stock WB8HD shafts are tough as nails on mine, and I am running the Holmes Hobbies 3500kv Puller Pro brushless motor.. but I would measure the stock shafts and look for MIP or JunFac shafts. There should be enough travel in those to fit the 12 inch wheel base

I see.... I would probably go for the JunFac shafts then, they operate and a sharper angle than the MIP's and they are thinner so they look more scale to me..

most all of my crawlers are not the factory length drive shafts, I just measure what I need and buy the appropriate length, whether its for a wraith, twin hammers, scx10 or whatever... I can assure you there are Junfacs that will fit the 12 inch wheel base of an scx10II.. My scx10 tundra build is running wraith length Junfac drive shafts for example.. The only issue I ever ran into was the set screws. I replace them with the original style thru pin of the scx10 drive shafts. Last edited by allanon1965; 10-17-2017 at 05:46 AM. |

Thanks. Do you know what is the required length of the front shaft on an SCX10-ii. It seems that it is much shorter than most other vehicles, due to the new gearbox design. | |

according to my measurements on mine, the rear shaft needs to be a Junfac 90034 and the front needs to be a Junfac 90031 the actual lengths are in the middle of those shafts travel range and should work fine. you will need these driveshaft pins Axial Wraith Screw Shaft M3x2.5x11mm (10pcs |
