I would’ve ran these instead of my VP Rock Jocks if they had built in link mounts. That would have really set them apart IMO. The four bolt heads on the axle kills the look, it’s the reason I went VP. I can’t stand seeing those bolts!!

| Re: New SSD Diamond Pro Axles
Just got my front assembled, just waiting on unis from eBay since RPP was out. As DPCardoza said these are a hell of a value. Everything goes together with a nice press fit. Bearings are nice and tight. Inner Cs are snug even before you tighten the clamp screw. I ended up using SSD inner Cs and brass knuckles but had to go with VP link mounts because again, RPP was out of SSD link mounts. The VP link mounts fit great with a little pressing and look perfect so if anyone was wondering they look to be as compatible as any other options as well as with each other. I’m so impressed with the quality of this axle that I’m going to order another front and rear set for a future build. For the price, these are a smoking deal. This front axle will be joining a VP F9 rear on a ToyZuki V2 build I’m working on. I’ll post more pics once I get the unis in and get them mounted. Great job SSD, this is another huge hit. |

I’m sure a lot of people wish these were available at the same time VP had all there axles out, a lot of money to be saved! Though it’s good to have options, SSD is much more reasonable in price.

Any good of these SSD diamond axles better than stock axial axles? ( Don’t get me wrong I do have SSD products and loved them ) are these diamond axles small in pumpkin compared to stock one?

I just put together my new front axle, one of the tube screws dident find any thread and 2 of the diff cover screws felt mighty loose so i dident really dare to try tighten those. Other than that i am good and looking forward to the maiden run with the new axle. |

I would love to see some narrowed axles for some class1 hardbody builds.
