Here in town.
It's a fun little area if you hit it at the right time. Other times it's to busy and struggle around groups. I like it for early morning test runs, has a nice mix and some challenging steep climbs.

Black Friday was a success!
Did 5.5 hrs today running trail and river bottom.
Had a blast putting the pressure on. This truck just works in every condition, I'm loving it and looking forward to some parts when they get here.
I know, shut up and show some porn.

Hey, thank you sir! Just using my phone but I try to get proof I was out and it helps keep track of where I've been.

Had a small group run today. It was cold and the frost made for some tricky conditions but we had fun. Had a few big tumbles and cracked my inner fender so I'm going to JB weld it with some styrene to strengthen.

Hardbody came in along with the MX-V. Happy to have a cheaper radio and not have to worry about smashing my fancy one on rocks.
Very excited to have a new body to work on.

Sunday funday! Had some fresh snow so had to go do a trail. Was hard getting anywhere but still fun and it's always nice getting out.
Love the new radio. Mxv is a nice cheap TX for crawling. It's going to take some runs to get use to the feel but I'm digging it.

Got started on mounting the hardbody. Liking the stance and how I have it. Will need to fine tune but it's solid.
Interior is mocked up buy long ways to go. Since this is a class 2 truck I'm removing the rear seats to save weight. ;)

Wow that body looks great.

I wish they made a mid 80's F150 hardbody. Lol...

It's really nice. I'm actually shocked of the quality for the price.
I think all bodies should be hard plastic for scale. It makes the driving more realistic..

It's been a few since I've updated. Weather has been crap, work has me way to busy and this hardbody is turning to be more work then planned.

New shocks
New wheels
New tires
BEC
New SSD axles
Still have to install some and I would write it all up in a full report but no one really reads this anyways. To the pics

Dravtech shocks. Really nice set, I'm happy I took the chance. I accidentally ordered the soft springs so I'm waiting on some others before I'm able to but a hard true run on them but so far best shocks I've had.

Lonelycreeper I got more done today. Happy enough with the body so running with it and moving on. Installed the BEC, driveline shafts and got new 2200mah 3s lipos ready. Still need stiffer springs to bring ride height up but she's coming along.

Haha.

Looks like you are missing something kind of critical in there.

Looks great.

Montana has some awesome country to make those pics beautiful even a green XJ.
Shocks are dravtech comps with soft springs but have some med and hard springs coming as my truck has gained a few pounds.

I did some stuff today but I'm going to let you look at pics and guess.
Last Sunday was my birthday and I got some cash. Monday I placed order, Friday it was here and today I spent the day building.
She's got good balance now with secure body.
