Default 10.2 length of links

Posted to newbie section about a week ago with no response.

I have tried searching several times for measurements for the SCX10 ii front and rear links- eye to eye measurement.

I have had no issue finding measurements for the OG SCX10, and I have been able to find the length of the actual rods for the ii as well. Since I will be making them myself and have several different sizes of rod ends to work with I need an actual eye to eye measurement for each link.

I have never owned an axial truck before and have been separately purchasing parts to build an scx10ii chassis / axle / shock hoop D90 - All of the other parts will likely be a mix-match of whatever I can make fit or whatever I fabricate myself. Planning a forward mounted motor/trans and transfer case.

I have the body, chassis rails, skid and crossbraces, as well as the xtra speed aluminum axle housings, most of the needed axle internals - and i would love to get started on assembly while I wait for the front scx10 ii shock hoops, ring and pinion gears, etc. that I ordered.

Can anyone lend a hand? Want to build the links as stock, and then shorten the rears as necessary to fit the D90 wheelbase.

Thanks in advance,
Dustin

The kit and RTR use a different style of links, but are these the same length?

Wheelbase is the same, why would the eye to eye be different?

Different skid plates, but I guess it's just the mounting holes for the transmission, not the shape of the whole thing.

Yeah, link spacing is the same on both. The kit actually comes with both skids

just replaced my rear lower links on my Honco 2 (RTR) and they are longer than 135.5mm. i built my own rear links to the 135.5mm and my driveshaft bottoms out and binds at the spline. measured my rear factory plastic links and they measured out to 138mm, so is there 2 12.3 wheelbases then? or would mine be more like a 12.4 or something? or maybe axial has a bit too much tolerance in the manufacturing? lol

edit: so far all have been about 2mm longer. surely they would not have made separate links for just the honcho for 2-3mm. idk.
